Worship at NPC

Please join us on Sunday morning at 10:45am in our chapel.  We are an informal congregation that embracs all believers.  Presbyterian worship experience allows everyone to deepen their Christian faith, explore their own spiritual being as well as connect the gospels to the life today.  The meaningful message from Pastor Pat is always thought provoking and relevant to the real world. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month and the Lord’s table is open to all.

Our children find that their time with Pastor Pat during the children’s sermon involves puppets that teach, shared stories of God’s love, and stuff to think about. Our teens feel connected to the service because they are asked to participate by being a liturgist, lighting candles, bringing forward the word or putting on plays during worship.  After the children’s time with Pastor Pat children can go to child care or are welcome to sit with their family in church.

Worship music is a mixture of the old standards as well as new music from around the world.  The small but mighty choir practices on Sunday mornings at 9:30am and is always looking for new members.  Our choir director Takako Hayase comes to us from the University of Cincinnati’s famous College Conservatory of Music and leads the worship with her incredible piano talent.  The choir sees its music as a vital contribution to the life of the congregation by praising God and enhancing their own faith.

During the service we invite people to share joys or prayer concerns so that we can pray about them together.

One thing that you can definitely say about worship at NPC is that is a joyful service of God’s love.
